Filibuster of the Day: Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) has been delivering an “historic” filibuster on the Senate floor for the past three-and-a-half hours, attempting to sway his colleagues against the imminent extension of the Bush tax cuts.

my god this man is amazing. He expresses so many feelings I’ve had recently about our government. All I could think as he listed these things was “What the fuck is going ON?!”

Bernie Sanders actually made a real filibuster happen today, and didn’t just threaten with one.  More importantly, what he is saying should be said in the Senate by someone.  Put up the good fight Bernie.
