The trio’s ability to craft endearing, cheeky, ear worm-worthy hooks is pretty astounding. Their work on their first two albums (Falling Out, Writer’s Block) can attest to this statement. Bjorn’s producing credit for Lykke Li’s debut more than confirms the sentiment. Listening to new single “Lay it Down” is a test in restraint.
